I bought one for my son and one for myself, on a whim, last Christmas. It looked cool and sleek, and portable so we could take it to work for brushing after lunch. A regular toothbrush would have worked as well. It's nice that it looks cool and modern, and has a two minute timer, and maybe that will encourage some people to use it more often, which is always good. And if you get the subscription, you are reminded to change the brush regularly. That said, it does not compare to the more expensive electric toothbrushes. When you turn it on, you do feel a vibration, but the actual brush doesn't vibrate. So you're basically investing in a regular toothbrush with a vibrating sound and feel. The brush doesn't move at all. You have to do all the work to make sure to get under your gums and between the cracks. Great brush to take to work, if you want to do that. But if you are looking for a brush that will get into the cracks and crevices, get a Sonic or a Braun or an Oral B. Great marketing and packaging, and attractive product, but if you need more, due to gingivitis or other dental issues, invest in something else.
