I heard about this book allllll over the internet and was SO disappointed. Don’t expect a literary masterpiece. This book is so shallow, and I physically cringed and made a face while reading it. My boyfriend asked what was wrong with me haha! TW: Don’t even get me started on the romanticizing of domestic abuse. In this book, abuse is excused because of a ~rough past~ and she continues to take him back because of how misunderstood he must be. Where is the strong woman role at all??! Maybe some will like this but this book was so terrible that I won’t even be passing it along to friends.
