Order this item on the strength of it being Amazon Choice and "highly" recommended. This bad boy was dead on arrival. Came with cheap AAA batteries. Installed them and tried the scale...said "Lo" indicating low batteries per the instruction guide provided. Okay I thought, cheap batteries may be the culprit. On the way home, stopped by Walgreens and bought Energizer batteries...tried those...same issue. Figured I'd try one more time...bought some Duracell batteries...tried those. Same result, "Lo". Packed that bad boy back up and shipped it back to which it came. Never again EatSmart. This product is complete JUNK!
