This Cabinet is super nice. Here's some details and pics!
Excellent beautiful cabinet. You will have it together in little time by yourself. I suggest to have on hand, a small Phillips head screw driver for small screws, flat head screwdriver for the cam bolts , scissors to cut plastic trays for hardware. And it does not tell you to use glue, but I suggest just a little wood glue in the dowel holes. It's not needed though but it is needed for top middle lip piece. The exterior has a nice smooth, thick shiny coat of very white paint that looks very nice. The inside is painted well too. . It far met my expectations on every level. 5 * on all.... on delivery , packaged. Directions , and it's size and spacing of shelfs. I put a tape measure against it in my pictures. One down fall.. Just one in my opinion ( you may like them though ) and that is the knobs. They are tiny silver ones. I used some white porcelain ones I had . The pre drilled knob holes fit my standard knobs I had. Oh, and I added another magnet to the one top door. I took it out of my shower curtain! It just sticks to it and makes it shut a little better. That's not needed but new knobs? Switch out!! If you want you may like them. The directions are very clear and this was one of if not the easiest and strongest pieces I've ever put together''. I've done many many, including IKEA pieces and most of us probably know how IKEA products "can" be difficult and not strong. Not all but some. This is no way anything like any IKEA piece except it does have those round cam bolts but they are better , stronger and easier ! The piece also uses the wood dowels , but that helps align it to make assembly easy. Tuck a little glue in the wood dowel holes. ' The directions have clear words and clear pictures and there are several languages each on different sheets. It uses some of the toggle bolts and cam nuts like IKEA uses as I mentioned but these went in way easier and tightened super well. All of the pieces are clearly marked ABC etc. The package of screws and bolts were clearly marked . It was the best organized and easiest directions I've ever seen and I've seen many! I put this together my myself in about an hour..I laid all of the pieces out, which are not that many. I recommend.leaving all the screws etc in the plastic and just take scissors and cut an large x through the top making a hole in each compartment so you can just reach in a take out what you need. There is cardboard on the back and the hardware compartments are marked on front near each compartment . The hardware numbers match the written directions which is an easier way for directions. You'll see if you order. Just note.. If you take hardware all out it will be a little confusing. But honestly even if you did it's pretty clear. The plastic housing the hardware is sharp so be careful. Maybe use plastic tweezers but I just grabbed what I needed as I went along. I also suggest using glue on the front top lip of the cabinet. If you do not, it will move a tiny bit.. It's the top piece that has the magnet on it. This piece will def benefit with glue in the side dowel rods. You will assemble the top half then the bottom half and then bolt those together with strong bolts. The back cardboard piece( it's not wood) has tiny pre drilled holes in it to use the small screws to tighten the back on. It's better than the nail on back pieces. All of the hardware is strong and not cheaply made . I noticed the difference. The top door already has one side of the the hinge screwed on to the right side of the door . You will lay the cabinet on its side and lineup the holes of the door and screw in screws with small Phillips head for completion of door. You'll do the same for bottom door. You can put on the doors before you attach the top cabinet to bottom or attach doors after you put top and bottom together.. If you do it before you attach top and bottom you will have less weight to lay on its side when you attach the doors. It's easier to line up the holes while Its on its side .,so it could be easier to attach door after you complete the top piece. Then attach the door after you complete the bottom piece . Then you lift the top piece and sit on bottom piece and bolt together using an Allen wrench they supply. I think you'll like it. I do.i had no share for towels. I can fit 4 towels on top and 4 on second shelf compartment. just normal bath towels, not huge bath towels. I've included some pictures. Some people say it's too small for towels I folded mine to fit. You can see how many I put in. It can hold 6-8 to towels in the two compartments. There's room for bins or baskets or whatever you want it for. It could be for food items, pots and pans, animals supplies or cleaning products. I hope you like this cabinet as much as I do:)
