The beans from Native Vanilla are still better but this stuff is pretty awesome too...
You just can't beat the price for the quality, authenticity, and ease of use.
I mean my experience with Native Vanilla beans has been so on point and epic that like- it makes me just warm inside to use this stuff on everything I can.. it's like an entire experience to pull my spoon out after I dip it in the jar and swirl it around (always for way too long) and then to just watch the caramel color appear in the dripping stretches between the black beans as I rock my hand left and right to keep as much as on the spoon as I can- oh man, it just makes me want to talk dirty or something.. it gets me that excited.
(my only complaint might be that you can tell the whole bean is ground in, so you have pretty big pieces that are just inedible and unslightly if you don't take some time to strain it IF you decided to mix the entire jar a thousand times, bringing up all the bits that once settled on the bottom just so you could spend an equally ungoldly amount of time with your nose glued to the side of the jar hoping to breathe in as much of the place as its from and all the people that touched it and all the joy that went into making it)
And yes, I took a gamble because I saw how many people complained about broken jars and I live all the way on the West Coast too- but alas, there was only some minimal drippage on the side. And no, it doesn't have a traditional seal (I mean I think the stuff literally comes straight out of the locale my friend) but more of a tear strip that breaks the first time you open the jar. So like I said- authentic ooey gooey vanilla-lover yumminess that can remind you of just how great it is to be alive.
