I was hesitant to buy this simple looking and rediculiously easy antenna to install. Unhappy to pay monthly for tv, I bit the bullet and cut the cable and just bought the best residential internet and dropped phone and tv cable. My bill went from $220 to $39. For phone there are so many options, I pay nothing for phone and for about $50 porting fee kept my landline number. Getting free good tv programing was harder. I assumed an outdoor antenna would better. I spent hours running wire, getting a roof mounted outdoor roof mounted antenna, cost wasn’t too much, about $150. When it worked, it did great about 45 crystal clear tv channels but it lasted less than a week, it was too flimsy, rotating it broke a weak soddered connection that the company axial wire attached to the antenna. My family was very frustrated trying to watch TV, I bought this quick simple solution that was meant to be temporary, the ”U Must Have” (dumb name) flat antenna. In about five minutes it was ready. To my surprise, it got 39 perfect channels. I think it can do better, depends greatly which wall I put it in. I didn’t attach it to my tv, instead I attached it to my TiVo because that TiVo has four slave , or as TiVo calls them, “Mini”. The one antenna gets the whole house when used with my TiVo. . Great find, I’m very happy with this antenna.
