The glass top of this ring storage box secures well and holds rings in place. They don't move around in the tray/box when it is turned on the side or even upside down, something I've had problems with in other storage pieces when traveling. I do't care for the boxes or jewelry rolls that have the 'ring roll' as I have to take multiples off just to get to the one in the middle! This low profile box fits well in my dresser drawer atop two other, slightly larger, storage trays. All I have to do is slide if forward and up a bit to fully lift the lid and choose my rings for the day! LOVE IT!
