Had it less than a week and it died. Took it apart to see what was wrong. Most small battery operated electronics develop a faulty connection and are otherwise *perfectly fine* and fix-able :) To my disappointment, it looks as though this shaver is cheaply made, with numerous points throughout where wires& solder make contact with other components, causing it o short out. Disappointing to say the least. Hoping either the seller and/or Remington reach out to make it better. Until then, I’ll go back to my straight razor. No wires necessary;) Edit: as a previous reviewer found, the battery is still a rechargeable AA. They did not make this unit with longevity in mind...
