my old og sport-brella has a more stout pole with a pointed metal end with is great for stabbing into the ground. this one has a lighter guage pole with a cheap plastic end that is not sharp. i cant get it into my lawn by hand and i'm scared to hit it in with a hammer cause of the cheap plastic end and lighter guage metal also the old one had a set screw with a knob on it with did well to lock the telescoping inner pole to the outer pole without any slip this new one has a cheap plastic cam lever and i can make the pole slip with only slight pressure i hate when companies take something that was good and go backward making it not so good i would return it but my dog already ate the box love my og sport-brella.....hate this downgraded version
