Just received this today from Amazon, tried to activate and got a message that I needed to call Ooma to activate. Called and spoke to a rep who then asked me where I purchased the unit, I told her from Amazon, and she informed me it would be an additional $9.99 to activate the unit for use, and that there would be no warranty. She then stated that if I didn't want the pay the fee, and get a full warranty, I could return the unit to Amazon and buy another elsewhere.
