This was a great unit .. AT FIRST. I carefully researched the options and decided to go with the Session after I learned that, despite not having a viewfinder, it was possible to connect it to your iPhone directly via Wifi to see how your shot is being framed. Neat feature, right? I mean, how useful would any camera be if you can't verify the framing of your shot? Well, the latest version of their app now requires you to LOG IN VIA THE INTERNET before you can use this or any other features! In a remote location? Want to see how your shot is framed? TOUGH LUCK. The most infuriating thing is their response on the GoPro support forums: "With the launch of our new Capture app last week, we do require users to log in to use the app. We're doing this to better understand how customers use our products." So ... you're removing a feature, and tracking users now, just to get free research off of your user base? What a slimy corporate move. Do not support this company.
