Ridiculous and Cliche
So, with free downloads, it is often hit or miss and lately there have been a lot of misses. The main character is described as being good at her job, but I really didn't see any evidence of that. 1. She is not a good judge of competence or character - for instance she assumes that the main guy is completely helpless and can't defend himself on no real evidence. 2. The author has her go undercover in Miami in a teeny tiny bikini, but has her hide a gun in the back??? You couldn't hide a credit card in a tiny bikini without it being visible, much less a gun! 3. Likewise, in her role as a guidance counselor, she effortlessly breaks up fights with 'roided up football players. She also handles multiple goons at once (in a badly written and inflated fight scene). Yet, (..........SPOILER SPOILER SPOILER.........) when it comes to fighting the actual bad guy, who is much smaller and less physically powerful, it is a tough fight for her. 4. She is hot headed and rushes in without thinking, again, not a good trait in a secret undercover agent. And she doesn't seem to have any official backup, just random townspeople who seem to be at the right place at the right time despite her. 5. Worst of all, her game plan seems to be to actively direct the CHILDREN at her school to a drug dealer (through the coach) and hope that one of then then comes to her and admit what is happening. WHAT?! No cameras installed at the bad guy's headquarters, no young looking agents posing as students, no phone taps, nothing professional like that. Just literally send actual kids over there to buy the potentially lethal drug and hope that one of them cracks and goes to her/the police. TERRIBLE! 6. And why would anyone even take these drugs? Everyone who was on them got worse at football, not better! What is the point? Oh, and the love story. Tepid. It was hard to care since the character was so annoying.
