I picked one up at Walmart for $9.88 and it's going back ... I was anxious to try it so I made an omelet with ham and finely shredded cheddar cheese. I followed directions EXACTLY to the letter. While I didn't have too much of a problem with it sticking, a small amount did stick to the bottom but I had no problem cleaning it. My biggest disappointment was the result of the food ... hard and dry and rubbery and it really didn't look like the omelets I make in the pan. And then I thought about it ... Do I really need one of these to make eggs when my omelets on stovetop come out delicious every single time and what does it take? less than 5 minutes total. Am I that lazy? I also looked through the other recipes and, again, except for one or two that I don't make the 'regular' way, I can make every one of them on stovetop or in microwave with much better result. This is just another 'gimmicky gadget' like that other cooker that was red and cooked everything in 7 minutes ... forgot the name of it. I returned that too. I'm staying away from all this gadgetry in the kitchen ... I'm a good cook so why do I bother with these shortcuts when the quality of the food is really compromised. Advice: If you really want it, get it at Walmart so you can easily return it and it's cheaper there too with no shipping...
