I bought the unit about 6 months ago and it worked fine until today. I usually scan through the product literature and I did not notice anything explicit about using and extension cord. When I call Sun Joe today and told them that my unit failed they ask if I used and extension cord. When I said I did they told me I violated the warrantee and the failure was my fault.
