We have loved this electric water kettle, until it just went belly up a year and a half after buying it. You'd think that a Cuisinart product would last better than this. So sad. UPDATE: Since this kettle was under warranty, I applied for a replacement with Cuisinart. It has now been over two months of submitting documents and phone calls and I have yet received my replacement unit. I, for one, cannot recommend buying Cuisinart appliances as they do NOT HONOR their guarantees.
