I have tried since Sept. of last year to like this POS. First offense was warping the wood of the shelf. This is not a problem they will do a return for btw, since they warn you to place it on plastic in the manual. The customer service rep snidely informed me of this. FUNNY THAT THEY DON'T MENTION IT ANYWHERE ON THE PRODUCT PAGE WHEN YOU'RE PURCHASING IT! Hope you have plastic furniture because we sure don't! We solved that problem with putting a baking sheet underneath it, though condensation still manages to build beyond that at times. Most of all, there is the gd cap. Look at the photos. Look really good. See those pegs next to where the cap screws on? See that wall just to the left? Yeah. Have fun getting your fingers around that sucker with any sort of grip if your fingers are larger than a child's. The obscenities I have screamed trying to get that sucker open didn't help a bit. I tried a rubber wrench and that doesn't work because there isn't even enough distance between the pegs and the wall to turn the effing thing with any effect! I SHOULDN'T NEED TO USE A RUBBER WRENCH IN THE FIRST PLACE! Who designed this crap?? Tonight was the last straw, after wrestling with the thing for a solid 5 minutes, I sprained my thumb. Seriously?! Look, the last thing a parent needs when they're struggling with sick children is a mf pos humidifier, I'm already barely making it to bedtime here people. I've dealt with screaming, cranky kids all day; I don't need this too! I wanted to like this, my son loves trains, seemed like a cute idea, AND it's FIFTY FRICKING DOLLARS but I HAAAAATE it. I hate it in my soul. I want to watch it melt in a fiery furnace, where it can never cause torment to me or anyone else on this planet again. DO NOT BUY THIS YOU WILL REGRET IT!!
